Our Partners

Partner Graeme Paterson-Beedle founded Graeme Beedle Enterprises (later re-named Graeme Beedle Tickets, then GBTicket) in 1985, a highly specialised micro-business trading in old and historical transport tickets. G Paterson-Beedle graduated with a BSc Hons in International Business and Economics at Aston Business School (Aston University, UK, 2009) and has a personal and keen interest in transport tickets, especially railways.

Partner Marion Paterson-Beedle (BSc Hons in Chemical Engineering and PhD in Chemistry) worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Senior Scientist at the Schools of Chemistry and Biosciences, University of Birmingham, UK, during 1993-2009. In 2009, M Paterson-Beedle joined GBTicket as a Partner to contribute to the ongoing development and technological innovation of the business.

GBTicket is a family run business, operated using modern business tools and with an integral approach to business analysis.  GBTicket’s websites are controlled by Ruben Paterson Pontes (BSc Hons and Post-Graduate in Internet Design Application).  We are advised on Integral Theory by Anthea Paterson (BA Hons), who holds a Post-Graduate Certificate in Integral Theory from John F Kennedy University, California, USA (for information on integral approach to business visit www.integralinstitute.org). We are working towards a long-term sustainable and ethical business, taking into account the social and environmental impacts of our activities.

With our long trading history, our wealth of expertise and experience, we aim to:

  1. Promote the hobby of old transport ticket collecting as a means to bring history to life and to remain close to truth in history, through ownership of real tangible evidence from the period.
  2. Provide excellent value to our customers by offering high quality products, a caring service, and integrity in all communications. We aim to build long term relationships with our clients, based on trust, that last over time, and benefit all parties.
  3. Support the community of collectors (e.g. via Transport Ticket Fairs which we organise).
  4. Respond quickly to clients' requests so that clients can meet their objectives in an efficient and timely manner.
  5. Provide systems that ensure:
  • fair and equal access of our rare and valuable items to all clients without favour;
  • all non-sustainable inputs to production are minimised in our operations, including use of paper and electricity.
